ECT focuses on the cognitive abilities (brain functionality) of the athlete.
Our training is based on the ReactOS Cognitive Development System developed by React Forge, which revolves around 4 fundamental components: SEE, PROCESS, DECIDE and MOVE.
We aim to unify these components, through our in-person, personalised training sessions, which will result in peak game intelligence and speed commonly known as Hockey IQ.

Hockey IQ is a term that refers to the player's ability to use their mental skills to guide their physical skills, and is essential for players to reach their maximum potential, it helps them make good decisions, plan out plays and predict their opponent's moves before they happen, it's also the ability to think quickly and adapt to different situations.

As a hockey player,  Hockey IQ is vital for players because it's one of the most critical factors for success in the game. If you don't use your brain correctly, you won't be able to compete with other players and can potentially find yourself playing on lower levels than you should be playing based on skill alone.

True agility must incorporate cognitive abilities associated with perception and decision making because most athletes must perform movements in an unpredictable environment where they constantly reacting and adapting to ever changing external cues.

Using ReactOS as the principles for training, we train athletes to see multiple stimulus at once, process relevant information, and make decisions towards optimal actions for the best possible outcome, then moving with precision and creativity with minimized reaction time.
